New York Eats Out
Monday June 23, 2003
This weekend I finally got a chance to check out the New York Eats Out exhibit at the New York Public Library. Not only did the exhibit offer us respite from the endless rain, it offered a fascinating look at the history of restaurants in New York City. From Delmonico's and the Four Seasons to hot dog vendors and automats, the exhibit, curated by William Grimes, covered the diversity of dining options in a city well known for its cuisine. The exhibit closes on July 12, 2003 so don't miss it. (By the way, it's free and just getting to see the architecture at the NYPL makes it worth it.)
