October is my favorite month in New York City -- cooler October temperatures make it the perfect time of year to go on walking tours and the fall foliage in Central Park is amazing. Not to mention all of the great Halloween events in New York City, especially the Halloween Extravaganza and Procession of the Ghouls at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.
