Strawberry Fields Memorial to John Lennon in Central Park

December 8, 2005 marks the 25th anniversary of John Lennon's death -- and undoubtably many John Lennon fans will be paying tribute to his life at Strawberry Fields. Strawberry Fields is located in Central Park near The Dakota Apartments where John Lennon and Yoko Ono lived and was one of their favorite places in Central Park. The 2.5 acre tear-shaped area features the famous Imagine mosaic, inspired by a similar mosaic in Naples, Italy.Related: Central Park Visitor's Guide
