NY Skyride Review
Monday March 27, 2006
If you're on a tight schedule or have kids in tow, the NY Skyride could be a good stop to make on your visit to New York City. Located in the Empire State Building, this 22 minute virtual tour of New York City offers an entertaining overview of New York City, as well as express access to the Empire State Building Observatory.

This “attraction” is the worst ripoff ever. More than half of it is a big infomercial on a small screen. For more on one of its past operators read:

DON’T WASTE your hard earned money on this RIPOFF!
There are 27 reviews on TripAdvisor.com as of March 2009 and the only 2 positive reviews were written on 7/23/04 & 12/8/04. They must have been written by the owners because the rest of the reviews TRASHED this atrocity.

It is obvious that this HEATHER HAS NEVER GONE TO THIS RIPOFF!! Awful show….1970’s technology and a movie made before 9/11 “doctored up” (cheesed up)to deceive the audience. Grainy film (only 15 minutes), poor sound AND the first two parts before the “big show” are boring and self serving. They give the Top 10 sights in New York but do not mention Top of the Rock – which is far superior place to view the city than the Empire State Building
