October in New York City

Monday October 1, 2007
October is a wonderful month for visiting New York City. The weather in October is ideal for walking tours, as it tends to be comfortable during the day and slightly cooler in the evening. You can even check out the Fall Foliage in Central Park or take a scenic boat tour to experience the beautiful leaves changing color north of New York City. Don't forget about enjoying Halloween in New York City, in particular the Village Halloween Parade and the Halloween Extravaganza and Procession of the Ghouls at St. John the Divine.
