Just got back from NY. We ate at Katz for lunch. Fantastic sandwich. My husband had pastrami, my son and I split the corned beef sandwich. We tipped the cutter/sandwich maker when we ordered instead of after. Walked to the Lower East Side Tenement museum and took the garment worker tour. Facinating tour, small group with knowledgable docent. Waited a bit for the tour to start,but found the il labortorio del gelato store across the street. Delicioso!
Gelato is great for a hot summer day. I heard about this place but have not been able to get there to try. i will very soon. Thanks for the post!
