Have Questions About Visiting The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island?

Monday August 18, 2008
The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are both popular destinations for visitors to New York City. (If you've ever seen the line for tickets, you'll have no doubt I'm telling the truth!)

You can visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island on the same day if you get started early enough since it will take 5-6 hours to visit both attractions. I highly recommend buying advance tickets if you're planning to visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island

If you’re having doubts about visiting the Statue of Liberty because of the queues and the time it takes. Take a ride on the Staten Island Ferry. It is free and passes by the Statue of Liberty for excellent photo opportunites.
