Hi Heather! I found you when I was scoping out NYC things for our “ladies weekend away from our life sucking families”
We are staying in the Times Square area but plan on hopping the subway to Canal Street (area), the Village (to shop and eat) and whatever else we can find. My question is….in investigating the subway Metropass, it looks like we can buy just one week pass (we will be there from Aug 1-3) and share it-there are two of us coming-by swiping twice. Is that correct?
We would also like to eat where the locals eat in the Village area or Soho or whatever you could recommend. Casual, good, food
Anything else you can recommend/suggest for us would be fabulous. I have been to NYC before but it was with my husband and we spent most of our time going to “his” destinations..needless to say they did not include funky shops or local food establishments.
Thanks sooo much! Christine
