A Christmas Carol Manuscript on View at The Morgan

The Morgan Library & Museum will feature a special exhibition, Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol from through January 10, 2010 as part of their holiday programming. Visitors will be able to see the original manuscript of A Christmas Carol, as written by Charles Dickens in just six-weeks in late 1843. The Museum's annual Winter Family Day Celebration featuring art workshops, costumed characters, and special performances will take place on Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 2-5 p.m. Singers from Mannes College The New School for Music will present traditional and popular holiday music on Fridays, December 11 and 18 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. (Museum admission is free during Mannes College performances, and every Friday from 7-9 p.m.)
