We are frequent visitors to NYC. We eat out every time we visit. We made a special trip to take advantage of restaurant week. We visited “ABNOCCATO”-last evening. The choices on the Restaurant week menu were not good. If you wanted something different on the menu–there was an extra $10 –and the patron sitting next to me–had chosen a salad and recieved a small tomato and leaf of lettuce. The service was excellent but the food was ordinary and at times terrible. We were treated well but the food on the menu was not the best. We are used to the choices for restaurant week being fantastic. “Abboccato” was disappointing.
