Katz's Delicatessen

205 E Houston St.

The Bottom Line
New York City is renowned as being home to some of the best delis and Katz's Delicatessen is among the best of the best. In business since 1888, enjoying an overstuffed corned beef or pastrami sandwich at Katz's will be something you remember from your trip to New York City. After dining here, you'll understand why they chose this setting for the orgasm scene in When Harry Met Sally.

Guide Review - Katz's Delicatessen: Restaurant Review
For late night eats on the Lower East Side, or when you just want to have a fabulous sandwich or a hot dog, Katz's Delicatessen is the perfect destination. While there are many competitors for the best corned beef and pastrami in New York, Katz's serves up a fabulous overstuffed sandwich($14.45-14.95) in an authentically "only in New York" environment.

Everything is served a la carte, so the bill can climb pretty quickly. Knish ($3.25-3.75) are available in potato and kasha varieties and with a sandwich, will easily serve two people. The hot dogs at Katz's($3.10) are a deliciously affordable way to experience Katz's. They offer a wide array of typical Jewish deli offerings, including potato latkes($9.10) and delicious cole slaw($4.50). Don't miss out on the Dr. Brown's sodas ($2.50).
