Guide Review - Blue Man Group: New York City Theater Review

The Astor Place Theater is rather small, with steps leading down into a basement lobby with a low ceiling. The audience files into the long, narrow auditorium. But this the East Village Theater is the NY home for the Blue Men.

Blue Man Group is a must see for all! It's hard to explain a show that has no dialog but can make you fall out of your seat in laughter. You can expect some props to include Jell-O, marshmallows, Twinkies, paint, TONS of paper and tubes, and you might also expect some of those props to end up on your lap. The Blue Man Group is an amazing visual display. These Blue aliens seen to be just as curious about you as you are them. They walk around fascinated by the audience. They capture the innocence, wonder, mischievousness and share their hilarious discoveries with the audience.

Blue Man Group is the kind of show that both theatergoers and non-theatergoers can enjoy. Any audience can appreciate the music, color and humor of this show. The cheerful ambiance of the show and the unbelievable talent of the cast make this show something you will probably want to see again.

The Blue Men have also invaded Boston, Chicago and Las Vegas.
