The Tribeca Film Festival in Brief:

The first annual Tribeca Film Festival was launched in 2002 by Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro. The Tribeca Film Festival was founded to celebrate New York City as a major film making center and to contribute to the long-term recovery of lower Manhattan. 2011 marks the tenth year of the Tribeca Film Festival, which has grown each year.

Things to Do at the Tribeca Film Festival:

Tribeca Film Festival Ticket Prices:

  • General Screening Ticket: $8-16
  • Panel Discussion Ticket: $25
  • Gala Screening Ticket: $25

Downtown residents, students and seniors can get $2 off general screenings ($3 off other tickets) when purchased at the box office. (Proof of status or residency required.)

Tribeca Film Festival Passes/Packages:

  • Hudson Pass ($1200): Access to all screenings (except Gala screenings), Tribeca Talks, the Filmmaker lounge and the Cinemania Party
  • Franklin Package ($450)/Harrison Package ($250): General admission to 20(Franklin)/10(Harrison) screenings, with ticket choice before sale to the general public begins.
  • Programmers Packages ($300): 2 tickets to each of 6 screenings (12 tickets total) chosen based on a survey you complete
  • Discount Ticket Packages ($39-300): Whether you like documentaries or foreign films, the Tribeca Film Festival has a pass to suit your interests.
