The Tribeca Film Festival in Brief:
The first annual Tribeca Film Festival was launched in 2002 by Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro. The Tribeca Film Festival was founded to celebrate New York City as a major film making center and to contribute to the long-term recovery of lower Manhattan. 2009 marks the eighth year of the Tribeca Film Festival, which has grown each year.Things to Do at the Tribeca Film Festival:
