Guide Review - Tomoe Sushi

For value and quality, you really can't beat the sushi at Tomoe Sushi. Slices of fish are generous in size and very fresh. Tomoe guacamole($4.50) a fresh avocado dip served with fried shrimp heads is worth trying. The Sushi/Sashimi combination dinner ($29.50) comes with miso soup or salad (I prefer soup -- they don't use the typical orange ginger dressing on their salad) and a generous serving of sushi and sashimi, including scallop, albacore, salmon, tuna, toro, yellowtail and 1/2 a spicy tuna roll. Pieces of sushi a la carte ($3-7) offer a wide variety of choices -- including baby scallop, freshwater eel and toro. Green tea ice cream($5) has a rich tea flavor and a slightly bitter finish without excessive sweetness.

Best Sushi on earth, Member blam0720

I have been a customer at Tomoe for a while. I love sushi and have been to many many top sushi places in the world: Nobu(s) in NYC, London, Hong Kong; Bond Street, Sushi Yasuda, etc...but Tomoe is still my favorite. I saw one reviewer said the services were not satisfactory. I disagreed. Those are the nicest people you can find in a restaurant!
