THIS EXHIBIT IS NOW CLOSED.
After a popular run in 2011, Harry Potter: The Exhibition has returned to Discovery Times Square and will run through April 7, 2013, so you've still got nearly two months to see it! Harry Potter fans will love seeing original artifacts, costumes and props from all of the Harry Potter films, including new additions to the exhibit since its last appearance in NYC.
Although you can't touch (or photograph) most of the items in the exhibition, there are a number of interactive elements, including a chance to get "sorted" into your favorite Hogwarts house. Visitors with children should be aware that there's a film sequence at the beginning of the exhibit that might be a bit scary for young visitors. Coat/bag check is complimentary, but on weekends, you cannot check coats, only strollers and bags. I'd recommend visiting during the week if possible to avoid having to take your cold-weather gear with you through the exhibit.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $22.50 for seniors and $19.50 for children 4-12. Kids under 4 are free. Advance purchase online or by phone 866-987-9692 is recommended.
