Bronx Museums

Check out some of the great museums that the Bronx has to offer visitors. Includes Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, the Bronx Museum of the Arts and the Judaica Museum.

The Bronx Zoo

Although it's not a museum, The Bronx Zoo is probably the most popular attraction in the Bronx and well worth a visit.

New York Botanical Garden

Located on 50 acres in the Bronx, the New York Botanical Garden has great exhibits and year-round appeal.

Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum

This National Historic Landmark was built between 1836 and 1842 and is located in Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx. The museum highlights the history and family of Robert Bartow, a publisher and descendant of Thomas Pell.

Bronx County Historical Society

Tours, lectures and exhibitions on the history of the Bronx.

Bronx Museum of the Arts

Twentieth century and contemporary art museum located near Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday.

Judaica Museum

Located at the Hebrew Home for the Aged at Riverdale, the museum offers lectures, concerts and other programs related to Jewish life. Includes a collection of objects, paintings and textiles from Jewish religion, arts and culture.
