2. New York Pass

Choose from 1, 2, 3 or 7 Days Of Unlimited Access
The New York Pass offers visitors a choice of 1, 2, 3 or 7 days and access to over 50 different attractions for $75-180 ($55-140 for children). Admission covers most popular New York City attractions, including top sights, popular New York City museums, and guided tours. You'll have to pack a very full schedule to get good value from the 1 and 2 day passes, but the 3 and 7 day passes offer great opportunities for savings for many visitors.

3. New York City Explorer Pass

New York City Explorer Pass
Choose from 3, 5 or 7 Sights/Tours in 30 days
The New York City Explorer Pass gives purchasers a 30-day window to see 3, 5, or 7 New York City attractions. Passes cost $70-145 for adults ($48-90 for children 3-12) and you can choose from over 30 different tours and attractions. You'll want to choose your attractions wisely to get good value from the New York City Explorer Pass -- while there are many included tours and attractions that cost more than $20, it doesn't make a ton of sense to use the pass for tours/admissions that cost less than that each.

I was surprised to discover that over 200 New York City restaurants participate in Restaurant.com which allows you to buy discounted restaurant gift certificates. Typically, you'll pay $3 for a $10 gift certificate, $10 for a $25 gift certificate and $20 for a $50 gift certificate. Pay attention to the fine print -- lots of the coupons are only valid at dinner or require a minimum purchase that might eat into your savings.
