2. See Santa at Bloomingdale's on 59th Street
If you're looking for a classic, low-frills Santa visit, consider hitting Bloomingdale's flagship location. While it's still a popular choice, the fact that it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that Macy's does ensures a shorter wait and less chaos. Santa is located on the eighth floor of Bloomingdale's (in the children's department).

Weekdays: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Weekends: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
3. Have Breakfast with Santa at Macy's
Head to Stella 34 inside of Macy's for a breakfast experience with Santa! Breakfast is $50 for adults, $35 for children and includes an Italian breakfast feast, table visits from Santa and his elves, treats to bring home, a keepsake “on Santa’s knee” photograph with a digital download ($39.95 value at Macy’s Santaland), and a complimentary prosecco bellini (for adults), all in a festive atmosphere complete with music and a gingerbread and confections display.
Schedule: two seatings at 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on November 30 and December 1, December 7 and 8, December 14 and 15, and December 19-24, 2013. Advanced reservations are required: reserve online.
4. Breakfast with Santa
Have breakfast at the Rock Center Cafe or Sea Grill, including a toy and visit with Santa and his elves, followed by an ice skating session at the Rink at Rock Center. Offered November 29-December 1, December 8 and daily from December 13-24, 2013. Reservations are essential.
