Drinking Games: New York City Bar Games

Want to combine a night of drinking with some fun and games? Check out these New York City bars offering trivia nights, Scrabble and more for a night of drinking games.

The Slipper Room

On Monday evenings, The Slipper Room hosts "The Big Quiz Thing" at 8 pm -- with a chance for the winners to take home $200. Located on the lower east side -- see their website for directions.

Pete's Candy Store

This Williamsburg bar offers trivia contests, scrabble nights, bingo, live music and poetry readings to keep you entertained while you drink and enjoy their selection of sandwiches.

Rocky Sullivan's Pub

Located in Red Hook, Brooklyn, Rocky Sullivan's has trivia nights on Thursdays, and also offers Irish language classes, hosts readings and often has live music.

Flight 151

On Thursday nights, from 7 pm - 1 am, you can get a free drink if you're the first one with a correct answer in Flight 151's trivia contest. This Chelsea bar also has "flip night on Tuesdays where you flip a coin to determine if you have to pay for your drink, and pull tab night on Wednesdays where you pay full price, 1/2 price or 25 cents for your drink.
