Manhattan: Greenwich Village Museums

While Greenwich Village is best known for great restaurants and windy European-like streets, there are museums in the area that can add a taste of culture to your wanderings.
Forbes Magazine Galleries
Located on 5th Avenue & 12th Street, the Forbes Magazine Galleries feature Fabergé Easter eggs and jewelry, toy boats, miniature soldiers, presidential manuscripts and fine art.
Gray Gallery of Art
This New York University art gallery exhibits a diverse collection of artifacts from many eras. Located in Greenwich Village, they also sponsor walking tours, films, and lectures.
The Ukranian Museum
This East Village museum focuses on sharing Ukrainian heritage and traditions with New Yorkers. Open Wednesday through Sunday afternoons, it's a great place to visit when you're in the neighborhood.
