Many visitors to New York City want to stay near Central Park. Hotels overlooking Central Park often have great views from some of their rooms, but be sure to request them in advance, as it's a popular request. Most of tese hotels are located along the southern portion Central Park, offering visitors not only easy access to Central Park, but also to many great New York City museums, restaurants and shopping. It's not entirely surprising, but these hotels tend to be somewhat expensive -- their proximity to Central Park means guests staying there will pay a premium.
