Museums on Us is a monthly promotion offering Bank of America customers free access to select museums on the first weekend of every month. Although the program covers over 150 institutions around the United States, we're going to focus on the museums in New York City that participate.

1. What To Know About Museums on Us
Bank of America cardholders are admitted free to participating institutions on the first full weekend of every month (see dates and museums below). Both debit and credit cards can be used for free admission. Children are not included (unless they have cards of their own!) and each person must have their own card (in their name) for admission. Admission excludes special exhibitions and ticketed shows.2. Participating NYC Museums
- Brooklyn Children's Museum - the first children's museum is located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn (Regular admission: $9/person)
- El Museo del Barrio - dynamic exhibits explore Caribbean and Latin American culture and art at this Upper East Side museum (Regular admission: $9)
- The Guggenheim Museum - located on Museum Mile, both the art and architecture of this NYC institution are worth experiencing
- The Metropolitan Museum of Art - iconic Upper East Side Art Museum (Regular admission: $25 suggested donation)
- New-York Historical Society - New York City's oldest museum is located on the Upper West Side (Regular admission: $15)
- Queens Museum of Art - see The Panorama, as well as the museum's other exhibits in Flushing Meadows Corona Park (Regular Admission: $8)
- Staten Island Children's Museum - visit the children's museum at Snug Harbor (Regular Admission: $6)
- Whitney Museum of American Art - dedicated to art from the United States (Regular Admission: $18)
