The SoHo/NoLIta Pratique is a great guide for visitors who want to make the most of their shopping tour through the neighborhood. The comprehensive directory includes phone numbers, addresses, websites and hours for nearly 1000 shops, hotels, galleries and restaurants contained in the 58 city blocks that make up the neighborhood. A small business card map of SoHo and NoLIta printed on the front of the business directory means you won't have to unfold the larger map while on trying to find your way, but it doesn't include the specific listings featured on the larger map. My recommendation: use the large map to design a path which will allow you to hit all the stores you're most interested in, and refer to the smaller map to make your way around.
I was happy to discover that there were more specific descriptions of the individual stores, as well as a better organized business directory in the latest edition. The map and directory even features icons highlighting "Must See" and "Highly Recommended" stores. The Pratique Guide: SoHo/NoLIta guide offers an unparalleled level of detail for those looking to make the most of a shopping (or window shopping) binge in SoHo and NoLIta.
