Guide Review - Fiction: New York City Off-Broadway Theater Review
Located at the Roundabout's Laura Pels Theatre, Fiction is a play about Linda and Michael (Tom Irwin and Julie White), two married and successful writers who live their lives contrary to the title of this play. They cherish their honest marriage, but when fatal results return from the doctor's office, they are compelled to read each other's diaries. The truth is written in black and white. A secret liaison with an enigmatic stranger (Emily Bergl) surfaces, which discloses the fictitious life they have been living.
The sparse stage dressing only emphasizes the talent of the actors. Fiction is a smart, insightful show that comes highly recommended by me. It will make you want to include passion and adventure in your life whether it is fact or fiction.
