Guide Review - New York Party Shuttle Tour
Meeting the New York Party Shuttle air conditioned 20-passenger bus just outside Times Square, I was pleased to discover that both the driver of our bus, Curtis, and our guide, Mike, were licensed tour guides. Whether we were visiting a location, or just driving through, Mike made sure to share interesting trivia and point out important locations that you might not even notice on your own -- for example the "Soup Nazi" shop from Seinfeld and several apartment buildings that celebrities call home.

There was a good mix of "on the bus" touring and "off the bus" touring, including stops at Rockefeller Center, Wall Street, the Staten Island Ferry and South Street Seaport. Having Mike along on the Staten Island Ferry was especially helpful as he answered questions about the harbor's islands and made it easy to navigate the ferry terminal. In Rockefeller Center, Mike lead us into some of the buildings to see the famous artwork that other visitors might have missed. The insight and knowledge shared throughout the tour really enhanced the experience.

Visitors looking to pack a lot into a short period of time will really benefit from this fast-paced overview of New York City. The small buses are able to make their way down smaller streets than large tour buses can, and the small tour group offered great access to our top-notch tour guide and the wealth of information he had to share.
