- New York Water Taxi provides free ferry service to Citi Field thanks to Delta Airlines. You'll need to return via subway, as service is only offered to the game.
- Sea Streak provides round-trip ferry service to Citi Field for select weekend home games from New Jersey.
Things to See at Citi Field:
- 2KSports FanFest - Open from 2.5 hours before game time through the 7th inning, 2KSports FanFest features a DJ, dunk tank, batting cages and even a chance of seeing Mr. Met before game time.
- Mets Hall of Fame and Museum - Features interactive displays, as well as World Series trophies and rings, and plaques for each of the members of the team's Hall of Fame.

Smoking is prohibited in the stadium, except in these locations:
- Plaza Level - Left Field Gate
- Field Level - Center field staircase landing across from the back of the CitiVision video board
- Promenade Level - The top of the ramp across from section 527
Coolers, glass and plastic bottles, and cans, as well as bags larger than a purse or child's backpack are not permitted. If you want to bring your own food and drink, keep these policies in mind -- juice boxes offer a good drink solution (they're even available with iced tea, etc) and packing a few small snacks in your child's backpack could be an option. If you bring anything that is forbidden you'll have to return it to your car before entering the stadium.
In addition to typical hot dogs, beers, and Cracker Jacks being sold in the stands and at the concession stands, there are a lot of different food options at Yankee Stadium from fresh fruit and candied apples to sushi and steak. See Citi Field Clubs and Restaurants for complete offerings.
Tailgating rules prohibit alcohol and open fires (including barbecues), as well as impeding pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
