Fujiya & Miyagi

South Street Seaport, Pier 17
Heavily influenced by 1970s Krautrock bands such as Can and Neu! as well as early-1990s electronica bands like Aphex Twin, this contemporary disco-punk band from the United Kingdom are practitioners of a sound that swings and compels you to dance.

Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings

With Southern roots going back to her gospel-singing days in a church choir, the “queen of funk” lived as a teen in Brooklyn immersed in 1970's disco and funk. In the 1980s, she worked as a corrections officer at Riker's Island before teaming up with the Dap-Kings to bring life back to funk and soul. *

Summer Stars - Elizabeth Keusch, Soprano

Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts at Pace University
Acclaimed as a “complete artist,” Keusch is celebrated worldwide for her musicianship and commitment to contemporary music. She will offer River to River Festival audiences the New York premiere of Judith Weir’s “King Harald’s Saga.” **

*Tickets are distributed two per person on a first-come first-served basis outside of Castle Clinton, at 5pm day of show.
