Summergarden at MoMA

Experience free jazz music in the sculpture garden at the Museum of Modern Art

MoMA Visitors Guide | NYC Summer Concerts Guide

Since 1971, Summergarden has been bringing contemporary classical and jazz music to MoMA. Admission is free, though seating is limited and admission will be capped when the Sculpture Garden is full. The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden will open at 7 p.m. and concerts will begin at 8 p.m. and last 60-90 minutes. The Sculpture Garden gate is located on West 54th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues. The closest subway to the Sculpture Garden gate is the E/M to 53rd St/5th Avenue.
