Lewis & Clark: Great Journey West:
I love IMAX movies for all of the exotic places they take me: the plains of Africa, ancient Egypt, deep into the ocean and even outer space. So when I heard about Lewis & Clark: Great Journey West, I thought, "That doesn't sound very exciting."

I was so wrong! I came away reminded how beautiful our own country is: the northern prairies once roamed by herds of thousands of buffalo; the seemingly endless range of Rocky Mountains; and the Pacific coastline, where Lewis & Clark's expedition finally reached it's intended goal. Along the way, the adventurers encountered over 50 different native tribes, discovered 178 plant and 128 animal species previously unknown to Europeans, and charted maps of the American west.

The film, which runs about 45 min., is narrated by Hollywood actor Jeff Bridges.
