9/11 Remembrance

Yes I will stop and commemorate what happened 10 years before - it is inescapable not to. A very reflective day and one of hope as we reconcile our nations towards peace and friendship.

British Memorial Garden

We're on holiday in NYC from Scotland at this time, so plan to visit the British Memorial Garden.

Commemorating in the UK

Many of us have friends of friends, or some slightly more distant connection to those killed in the attack. We all remember where we were when it happened; to us it was one of those moments when the world seemed to stop. I think most people in the UK will pause to remember silently but we will remember. No doubt we will also watch the US commemorations on TV. I don't yet know what might be officially done.
